O'Neal is Coming to Jefferson-Edison!
In
our effort to bring respectful Parental Development that is educational,
motivational and inspirational to the Jefferson-Edison parents and
guardians, we are happy to announce that we will be hosting author and
famous mom, Lucille O’Neal at Jefferson-Edison (Shaquille O’Neal’s
mom). She’ll be here on February 2, 2011. She is a motivational,
“real”, speaker and is certain to be enjoyable as well as inspirational.
Every family in attendance will be given a copy of Lucille O”Neal’s
book, “Walk Like You Have Somewhere to Go”. This event will be by
reservation for adults only. Jefferson parents and guardians will be invited first,
then we will open up reservations to other adult community members.

Streetball at Jefferson!
On
December 8 And1 visited Davenport. The players went to 10 schools during
the day and reached almost 4000 students with their inspirational
message. In the evening, they performed before a packed Central
gymnasium with 2300 family members in
attendance.
