DAVENPORT COMMUNITY SCHOOLS RECOGNIZED BY EPA FOR ACHIEVMENT IN ENERGY EFFICIENCY

On Tuesday September 14^th, the Davenport Community School District will receive an award as a result of our energy saving initiatives.  The United States Environmental Protection Agency, Region 7 office in Kansas City will recognize our school district in the category of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources.   Region 7 includes the states of Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, and Missouri.  Davenport was the only school district recognized in this region.  For more information on how Davenport achieved such gains in efficiency, please contact Bill Good, Director of Operations for the District at 386-3351.
