Principal's Message

Greetings from F.L. Smart, home of the Soaring Golden Eagles. We wish to extend to you a warm welcome from the entire faculty and staff. We hope the information contained in our school report card will provide a small snapshot of our accomplishments and challenges. As you review this information, please feel free to contact us should you have any questions.

We encourage parents/guardians to stay actively involved in your child’s education. By signing up for the Parent Assist Program, you are able to check grades online from any computer. Administration and teachers also encourage you to visit with us related to your child’s progress through e-mail, phone, and parent teacher conferences.

We hope that parents and students will soon recognize the sense of pride we have as members of the Smart Community. We appreciate the support of our parents and the community and consider it a privilege to serve as educators. The administration, faculty and staff at Smart approach the 2009-10 school year with great anticipation. We look forward to our time together. Go Eagles!
