May 10, 2012 Dear Walcott Parents : I am pleased to announce Mrs. Virginia Weipert will become the principal of Walcott School effective July 1, 2012. Mrs. Weipert comes to Walcott School with a great deal of experience in a variety of educational roles and settings. Mrs. Weipert's current position is the Director of Human Resources for Davenport Community School District. Mrs. Weipert has also served as Associate Director of Human Resources for the Davenport Community School District, Smart Intermediate, Principal, Central High School, Associate Principal, Wood Intermediate, Associate Principal and teacher at Wood Intermediate.
